2017 Creation Care Dinner

Each year, Centenary UMC holds a dinner for the community to showcase organic, locally grown foods, celebrate what has been happening in Creation Care Ministries, encourage personal involvement, and hear from a great speaker on a related topic. This year, our annual dinner is part of a larger collection of activities centered around earning the GreenFaith Energy Shield and the first time we have drawn attention to the issue of Climate Change from a faith perspective. A member of NCIPL’s Leadership Council, Dr. Stephen Jurovics, climate mitigation engineer and author of “Hospitable Planet: Faith, Action, and Climate Change” will be the featured speaker. Cost is $12 ($8 students) and registration is required.
