3rd Annual Wake Forest Food & Faith Intensive in Asheville

Convened by the Food, Faith, and Religious Leadership Initiative
Theme:  “A New Heaven, A New Earth: Ecology, Permaculture, and Revelation.” Morning lectures with biblical scholar Dr. Barbara Rossing discussing ecological themes in the book of Revelation; afternoon workshops on either “How to Create and Sustain a Faith-based Food & Agriculture ministry,” with Na’Taki Jelks and Sarah Nolan, or “Redemptive Permaculture” with Chris Grataski. The Rev. Nurya Love Parish will serve as our course chaplain, and Charles Pettee of Folkpsalm will be our musician-in-residence. Lauds and Vespers each day, communal meals, and evening music.
