7th Piedmont Sustainability Junto

The Piedmont Sustainability Junto is a gathering of invited leaders in business, philanthropy, science & government from around the Triangle. The focus of the Junto is our sustainability; land conservation, energy, product design, clean tech, food security, impact investing, transportation & climate change. Each meeting has a featured speaker, but not just a presentation. Attendees are encouraged to give updates from their specific field. The goal is to invite discussion, civil debate, collaboration & idea generation.

Our speaker is Paula Ehrlich DVM, PhD, president and CEO of the E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation. Dr. Ehrlich leads the Half-Earth Project, which is driving the research needed to better understand and care for our world, providing leadership to guide conservation efforts, and engaging people to participate broadly in the goal to conserve half the Earth’s land and seas in order to safeguard the bulk of biodiversity. Please join this intriguing discussion.
