Artists are storytellers: “Hot Earth Artists Troupe” exhibition examines global warming

Thirteen “Hot Earth Artists Troupe” (HEAT) members are responding to global warming at Hillsborough Artists Cooperative’s Skylight Gallery on Friday April 25, from 6-9 p.m.  For one night only, HEAT will take on the planetary crisis.

Organized by painter Jennifer Miller, the exhibit features photographs, conceptual and physical sculptures, paintings, textiles, jewelry, and more by artists Donn Young, Hunter Levinsohn, Jayne Bomberg, Tiffney Marley, Tom Guthrie, Deede Miller, Godi Godar, Lindsley Bowen, Michael Brown, Anne Gregory-Bepler, RAMCELL, and Louise Francke.

The HEAT exhibit is free, held in conjunction with Hillsborough’s Last Friday celebration and art walk, at the Skylight Gallery, 102 W. King Street, downtown Hillsborough, upstairs over Antonia’s Restaurant.  For more information call 919 644 8637919 644 8637.
