Building Community Resilience to Climate Change Impacts – Stakeholder Meeting

March 27, 2018 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

We would like you to represent your sector of the coastal society and economy for a one-day workshop to address building resiliency in our region.  The effects of a changing climate bring challenges and opportunities to every aspect of our communities; thus, cultivating resiliency is essential to coastal sustainability.  We seek to include representatives from all sectors of the central North Carolina coast and hope that you will join us.

Participants will learn about climate change impacts that are affecting and will affect coastal North Carolina; learn from each other what it means to be resilient to climate change impacts; determine actionable ways to address climate change impacts, and network with other to facilitate greater climate resilience within the NC coastal plain region.
