Carrier and French Broad River Park

Show your support for UN Climate Talk commitments from global powers to fight climate change by attending “People’s Pilgrimage for the Paris Climate Talks” on December 6, 2:00 PM, at the Carrier Park pavilion on Amboy Road. Walk two miles along the French Broad River to French Broad River Park and stop along the way at significant sites to share in music, poetry and prayer.

Guests include: Rabbi Justin Goldstein, David LaMotte, Rev. David McNair, Sarah Ogletree, Rev. Julie Wilburn-Peeler, Jane Laping, Luke Cannon, Tom Tribble, Kelly Martin, and others.

Paddle For Paris Option!  If you sign up, you can paddle on the French Broad River with Rev. Thomas Murphy and Mountaintrue staff member Anna Alsobrook from Carrier Park, stopping at the FBRP and taking out just down river. There are limited canoe seats so sign up if you want to use our boats-

The weather will help determine if we do the paddle portion of this trip 🙂
