Charlotte’s Solarize Our City

Join us for an evening of learning and collective action around solar power. Solarize Charlotte is a nonprofit initiative to provide homeowners with an easy and cost-effective option for installing solar panels and reducing the cost of solar up to 75% from retail value. Distributed solar means more skilled jobs, cleaner air and water, and more affordable rates for everyone.

The Solarize Our City Event will include a panel of experts including a representative from RED Group (Solarize Charlotte’s preselected solar installer), Admirals Bank (no money down, low interest loans) and an accountant (state and federal tax incentives). The panel will be followed by networking opportunities with over 20 sponsoring organizations, trainings on how to spread the word and free dinner. Let’s Solarize Our City and kick off solar energy revolution in Charlotte.
