The Clean Power Plan: What EPA’s Carbon Rules Mean For North Carolina

The Center for Law, Environment, Adaptation and Resources (CLEAR) and the UNC Institute for the Environment present a forum to provide participants with an overview of the proposed EPA fcarbon regulations, starting with EPA’s own perspective on how the rules could impact North Carolina. The forum will feature a discussion on the proposed regulations from an academic perspective and the impact of the proposed regulations on a wide variety of interests in North Carolina.

UNC Institute for the Environment
Duke University’s Nicholas Institute
Duke Energy
Environmental Defense Fund
NC Utilities Commission, Public Staff

It will be held at the UNC School of Law, Van Hecke-Wettach Hall, Room 5042

This event is free and open to the public, no registration required.

Public parking is available at Ram’s Head Parking Deck on Ridge Road, or in the Ridge Road lot on Hwy. 54.
