Earth Day Fair – Roanoke Electric Cooperative

Roanoke Electric Cooperative will celebrate the relaunch of its community solar program, Roanoke SolarShare, hosting an Earth Day Fair on Friday, April 20, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at co-op headquarters in Aulander – and everyone in the community is invited to attend!
Join your neighbors, co-op leadership and member-owners, community partners and generous Roanoke SolarShare program sponsors and supporters to learn how co-op community solar is back and better than ever before. Fairgoers will enjoy a range of festivities, with local vendors, food trucks and area businesses on hand to offer a variety of food, products and services for purchase and to promote community resources. Attendees will learn more details about the new Roanoke SolarShare program, including cost-saving efficiencies for lower monthly power bills.
Hands-on electric and hybrid vehicle demonstrations will be among the activities taking place throughout the day, and co-op member-owners in attendance will receive a special bonus: a free raffle ticket for the chance to be the one lucky winner of five solar panels.
