Hands Across the Sand, Atlantic Beach, NC: Say Yes to Clean Energy!

On Saturday, May 16, at 11:30 AM, folks will gather at Fort Macon State Park near the Educational Center Beach to join hands in solidarity against offshore oil drilling and in favor of alternative clean energy like offshore wind. Following the demonstration, and a BYO picnic, Sierra Club Staff member, Zak Keith, will speak on Clean Energy for NC. This is part of the national demonstration, “Hands Across the Sand”, and it is co-sponsored by NCIPL and the Croatan group of the NC Sierra Club
