Our Environment and the 2015 NC Legislative Agenda: A Discussion with Guilford County Delegation Members

September 20, 2015 @ 2:15 pm - 4:00 pm

Environmental Stewardship Greensboro (ESG) will host a meeting on Sunday, September 20, 2015, to explore how the General Assembly dealt with major environmental issues during the 2015 session.  The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss the status of renewable energy credits and portfolio standards, state agency work on a clean power plan, and other issues with members of Guilford County’s delegation.

Also on the agenda, Susannah Tuttle of NC Interfaith Power and Light (NCIPL) will describe next steps for compassionate advocacy and what faith communities statewide are doing to address climate change.

Please join in this discussion to hear our delegation members’ perspectives on the 2015 Session. Bring your friends and others in your faith community.  Protecting our air, land and water resources is a sacred trust that we should share with our General Assembly members.
