NCIPL Virtual Townhall Webinar

On July 21st from 12:00pm – 1:30pm we will be holding a Virtual Townhall webinar on why people of faith are morally called to act on climate change. This event is free and open to anyone with a computer! Guest speakers will discuss what the Pope’s encyclical on climate change means, the EPA Clean Power Plan, IPL’s ParisPledge and a brief update on the Paris climate talks. The final part of the Townhall will be a brief training on how you can Advocate With Compassion through meetings with member of Congress during the August break. If you are part of a green team at your congregation you may want to consider hosting a viewing.
