Public Hearing on Offshore Wind Energy #2 – Wilmington

February 11, 2015 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Wind Turbines with Rainbow

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has scheduled three public hearings to receive comments on its environmental study which identified areas off of the N.C. coast that could be developed for wind energy. This comes at a significant time as other conversations are also ongoing regarding offshore oil development in the Atlantic.

NCIPL encourages North Carolinians to put their faith into action and make their voices heard in support of sustainable, renewable energy.
