Superstorm Sandy Commemoration – Morehead City

Join us for a conversation about the new realities of a changing climate and the importance of resilience planning in our coastal community. A candlelight prayer in solidarity and in recognition of the impacts of climate change and the resilience of communities will open and close the event. Candles will be provided. We will meet in the Gazebo and if the weather is not cooperating we will move into the Train Station.

This event is part of a national commemoration of the 1st Anniversary of Superstorm Sandy and it’s connections to a climate change.
