Solar Dedication + More

We invite the community to attend the dedication of a community-funded solar array on our building. The funding model for the array was a pilot project exploring whether community funding would allow nonprofits serving the community to defray their costs by installing solar arrays. In addition to the dedication and tours of the array, we will provide information and solicit advice on opportunities for action.

The Solar Dedication + More is Sunday, February 14, noon to 12:30PM, at 814 Dixie Trail in Raleigh.

Community United Church of Christ has been working on climate change from the perspective of a community of faith, in collaboration with other community groups. Our particular concern is to address the needs of people with the fewest resources to adapt to climate change.
