US Climate Action Network – 2017 Annual Meeting
June 5, 2017 - June 7, 2017
This year represents a pivotal moment for USCAN as we transition to a new Strategic Plan in the face of powerful opposition from the federal government to clean air, safe water and protected land and lives. This meeting will align USCAN to be more powerful in the face of this opposition.
The Steering Committee identified a set of goals to guide the Annual Meeting. They are to:
Goal 2: Build relationships and deepen connections between USCAN Voting Participants.
Goal 3: Identify alignment areas for 2017-18 using the new annual democratic voting process.
Goal 4: Create space for members to align around shared priorities/pockets of work.
Goal 5: Invigorate and inspire members to work together through the network across issue areas and sectors on matters they are concerned about the most.
Goal 6: Empower members to work together to take meaningful, externally impactful action that reflects goals 1–5.
