On March 18th, NCIPL is hosting a 1-hour Free Webinar a week before the “Faith Voices for Clean Energy” Advocacy Day in Raleigh. The webinar will be hosted by NCIPL Director, Susannah Tuttle, NCIPL Communications and Advocacy Development Project Consultant, Veronica Shingleton, and the Environmental Defense Council’s NC Clean Energy Senior Manager, Greg Andeck.

This webinar will help you answer questions like:

  • How does the NCGA work?
  • Who holds the power?
  • What clean energy legislation is being discussed in NC?
  • What does it mean to advocate with compassion?
  • How can put my faith into action?

Susannah has been Director of NCIPL for three years and will talk about her experience reaching out to congregations and officials with an open and engaging approach and the successes she’s experienced.

Veronica has extensive knowledge on these topics, with over 14 years of public policy and advocacy experience on the state and federal level, and will help us better understand the legislative process and how that can guide advocacy efforts.

Greg leads strategy development and outreach to leading companies, regulators and policymakers to advance the EDF Clean Energy Program’s objectives in the Southeast. His work accelerates investment in clean energy and fosters a modern, intelligent, interactive electricity system designed to maximize renewables, efficiency and reductions in air pollution.

Mark your calendars! The 1-hour webinar will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18.
