2016 Triangle Global Health Annual Conference

September 30, 2016 @ 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Our world is  increasingly interconnected.  The forces that determine our health are no longer limited by boundaries, cultures and governments.  As we work to improve the health of communities both here at home and around the world,  collective action and knowledge sharing is critical to our work.  Practices and innovations applied locally have global implications and vice versa.  Join us to share, discover and learn as we explore health solutions that not only transcend borders but cross traditional institutional and disciplinary boundaries as well.

Faith-based organizations play a major role in advancing global health, working actively in health and development, advocacy and community engagement.  NCIPL Director, Susannah Tuttle will be facilitating a session titled: The unique role faith-based organizations & initiatives play in addressing global health – discussing how faith organizations maintain their mission, advocate effectively and mobilize populations.  Panelists will discuss lessons learned as well as best practices for engaging and partnering with faith-based organizations.
