Public Hearing on Offshore Wind Energy #2 – Wilmington
The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has scheduled three public hearings to receive comments on its environmental study which identified areas off of the N.C. coast that could be developed for wind energy. This comes at a significant time as other conversations are also ongoing regarding offshore oil development in the Atlantic.
