Prayer Vigil for the Success of Pope Francis and his Creation Care message
St. Egbert Catholic Church, will offer a mass and hold a prayer vigil open to the community at noon on September 23, for the success of Pope Francis. The Pope will be speaking to the US Congress the following day about our moral responsibility to care for God's Creation and the least among us.

Solar Dedication + More
We invite the community to attend the dedication of a community-funded solar array on our building. The funding model for the array was a pilot project exploring whether community funding would allow nonprofits serving the community to defray their costs by installing solar arrays. Solarize the Triangle
Solarize the Triangle is a campaign to encourage homeowners and small businesses to install solar on their buildings. Faith communities are supporting this effort as part of our caring for creation. Church of the Nativity and St. John's Episcopal Church in Wake Forest are partnering and hosting an event at 7 PM on March 30 at Church of the Nativity. The Creation Care Alliance of Western North Carolina will host a vigil celebrating God's creation and calling on people of faith to care for it.
