Church service at 10:30 am followed by a naturalist who will talk about the Burnt Mill Creek in the context of the development of New Hanover County. The talk will continue north along the creek on the lookout for animals and plants of note including egrets, herons, turtles and fish. Governmental and private efforts to clean up the creek will be described in an effort to educate residents attending to assist with ongoing efforts. The meal following will be picnic…
