Community Local Foods Potluck
At the Unitarian Coastal Fellowship, there will be a community local foods potluck at 6 p.m. on April 22. The potluck is open to the public and being held in partnership with the Carteret Local Food Network. They will screen the free movie Dirt following dinner in the sanctuary.

Raleigh Earth Sabbath Celebration
Spring has sprung with beautiful flowers blooming and lovely bird songs! Our monthly Earth Sabbath Celebration falls on April 22nd, Earth Day!!! We’ll do something special to celebrate the day and meet at Historic Yates Mill County Park. The park is located at 4620 Lake Wheeler Road in Raleigh. We will take a walk in the park, taking time to focus on how nature speaks to us as individuals. Bring a poem to share to celebrate Earth Day. Please bring a chair and rain gear,…

This is an annual event sponsored by the Greensboro Public Library. Many environmental groups have exhibits and information. The entire event is designed to be kid-friendly and there are a wide variety of hands-on opportunities. Emerging Ecology, founded by Nelson Stover, will have a booth which will include sacred geometry coloring opportunities and a Story of the Universe game at the Earth Day Fair.

A reception will follow at Jubilee! Community Church, 46 Wall St. Jubilee is also our rain out location. This event is free.
