Preach-In on Global Warming – Professor of Old Testament to Speak at United Church of Chapel Hill
On Sunday, February 15, United Church of Christ in Chapel Hill will welcome guest preacher and teacher Trisha Tull to their pulpit and Adult Forum. Trisha is a "retired" (she's very active) Professor of Old Testament. She's written a number of books on the Old Testament. Her most recent book is titled, "Inhabiting Eden: Christians, The Bible and The Ecological Crisis." She left teaching at the seminary to devote herself to environmental work. Witnessing Best Practices in Habitat and Energy: A Tour of Raleigh Faith Communities via Biodiesel Bus
This tour will gather people of faith to witness best practices within faith communities in Raleigh, NC. We will travel on a biodiesel bus, with Greenway Transit, visiting four sites, and sharing lunch. This tour will be led by the Youth Faith Conservation Network (YFCN) to generate innovative and collaborative conservation projects within faith communities.
